This only works if you have a gamestop card plus the coupon from february's game informer issue. Anyways, it goes like this:
Used dvds without cases are sold for an automatic 25% markdown. You will save an additional 10% by using your gamestop card, and then another 10% off with the coupon you have from game informer for a total of 45% off which leaves 55% of the total (or 60% if you want to get technical. If you don't understand how I got 60%, do the math: 25% off 100%, 10% off 75%, 10% off 68%) Dunno how many stores will be good to do this, but if anyone does do it, then make sure and let us all know. DVD's without cases aren't worth jack shit to me, or most othere for that matter, I'd rather pay 15.00 for a movie I want with a case than get it without the case for 2.00....or free for that matter. :?
Plus yeah, you have a little too much time on your hands.

no thanks for the post. I wouldn't buy without the case either though! Damn you stollen stuff and burnt and then disk sold. They have the case and just a different disk! made thir money back too. It's so easy to con nowadays

I've never seen any DVD's without cases at my local Gamestop; but I'll take a look next time I'm there... thanks!

Thanks for posting this deal. I'm not sure why people have to complain about deals people post. I not planning on getting any DVDs without cases but, it doesn't mean it not a great deal for somebody.

I know personally I could care less about the case. All DVD cases are, are the poster art on the outside and a little insert with the chapters.

to make this game related, some GS have had the liminality dvd's from the .hack games sold seperately. actually...those were going for 2.50 anyways...

Ha. Naw, I don't have a lot of time on my hands, I just work at Gamestop and saw the 25% option in the computer. It was actually something tipped off to me by someone else, though. And I'm pretty sure it's 25% off for all Gamestops since it's in our POS (Piece of $*** that is) and I know the people at corporate don't have time to edit the POS for every single region.

It won't work. The 25% discount can not be stacked with the GI discount. It's one or the other.
If they do allow it though, more power to you. They could get written up for that.

Yeah, I'm sure it took me much longer to type my post than it took him figure and work out his algebra problem above. Thanks for pointing out that you don't know what your talking about.
