If you take them to Blockbuster, they issue credit. They do not give cash for trade-ins. GS/EB is the only big chain that will give cash for trade-ins.

Based on what somebody else said (I haven't tried it), use the Gmail + sign trick -- yourname+1@gmail.com, yourname+2@gmail.com, yourname+3@gmail.com, ad nauseum.... All emails will still go to yourname@gmail.com though so you don't have to worry about missing an important email.

So: I won the 360 system about a week and a half ago. I called that information # they give earlier today and they said that they have no record of my win.

Like an idiot, the only info I saved was that really long confirmation number they give you, but apparently that means nothing as they can't search for it.

The only thing I can think to do is to try and refind the page that showed that I wond; unfortunately, the default history setting in firefox has caused this to delete. Does anyone have any idea how I might find that page again? I tried system restore, but that just reverts Firefox back to the '9 day history' setting.

So remember: if you win the system, make sure to print screen, save the link, whatever, just in case they try to pull something on you.

Okay, I see we have a couple of CAG newbs fighting over a trade that never happened (and probably should not have happened, since it was a "test" :roll: ) and bad feedback being left.

Guys, if you're going to be like this, take it back to SD or FW, where that stuff is more normal. At this rate, you're going to find that no one here is going to want to trade with either of you.

More on topic: I find it funny that every contest that has faceplates, I never win one. I have gotten a couple of the game packs, a boatload of points, but never a faceplate.

I'm not too worried, though; everyone seems to think it is as ugly as sin.

From what I've read neither side is looking too pretty. Just because he didn't want to get scammed himself, doesn't mean he was trying to scam you. If it ended there I wouldn't see any problem, but the fact that you told him to go 'die', probably led to the feedback.
