It's possible that they have a way of knowing which ones haven't been used and are assuming (albeit incorrectly) they won't be.

With this concern of 100 MS points being invalid I want to use them but I don't have a 360 yet. Can I set up a Live account online, input my codes, and then set that account up on my 360 (when I get it)?

Keep in mind the points aren't just for Xbox; you can use them for Zune as well. So there are a couple different avenues with which you can use your live account.

I had a feeling that was going to happen. That's why I used the ones I wanted and when I traded away the rest, I told the people I traded with to use them soon. Probably Tropicana's way of renewing prizes by reusing codes that have not been redeemed. As for the way they know they haven't been redeemed, it's as easy as calling MS CS.

You are trying to pawn off an iTunes card, which clearly didn't come from this contest, and being obnoxious about it at the same time.

If you want it gone so bad, make a tradelist in 10 days, once your waiting period is up.

I haven't played this since the first batch of prizes were shipped out. I played 20 times just now and on the 11th time I got another gamepack. I think the makes 6 total? I might start playing again cause I really want some points but the new captchas are longer and harder (thats what she said!). I miss when autofill did most of the work.

No, it's old news to the BB/GR thread (and the CAG trade-in price wiki) that Forza gets $32 and FF2 $15 at Blockbuster. Forza got $35 a few weeks ago. I didn't bother trading in there because the credit is fairly useless to me, but if you have a GR nearby it's a pretty good deal. I did, however, get Gamecrazy to price match Blockbusters trade-in price on those games ;).

Received a game pack in the mail yesterday (or maybe it was Friday?). Odds are it was the one I bought from WZ_man (before I won one as well). So I'm expecting another package in a week or so, plus 1 of those hideous face plates. Lol.

If you are entering them on the computer you can't so you must enter them on your xbox 360. If it still doesn't work then the code may have been used or your typing it wrong. If that's the case look over your code sometimes I confuse D with P, G with 6, etc.

Anyone know a way to see what date one's XBox live subscription expires? I know it used to be under Billing and Contact information on the website, but I can't find it now.

Since I have two years worht of 48 hour codes I was thinking of trying to apply a lot of them to my account but didn't know for sure if they stacked on top of a 12 month code. Anyone know for sure if they do stack?

You can enter once every day with any given email. You will get the same 48-Hour code with each same email. You could enter once a day with one email, but you'll never win everything. To get good prizes you need to dedicate time to it, they don't just come to you.

If they're running out of prizes, it's because people are hoarding.. The guys on CAG are as bad as the Slickdeals/FW crowd. Sad. And disappointing.

How would he profit from that? He probably traded the gamepack for around 2000 points or something. That's way less than what he would of got if he just sold it.

And anyone could just say "hey I haven't won a gamepack, can someone trade/give me one?" and lie about it. There is no way to track everyone's winnings to see if they're telling the truth. You need to stop complaining about something that you will never be able to fix/change.

Re-read what I typed. I won a gamepack. Two days prior to winning, I traded XBL points to someone for a winning Gamepack code, since after months of trying I didn't win one. So I ended up winning two gamepacks. One is in my collection, while gamepack #2 is going to my brother-in-law for christmas.

I didn't sell a gamepack or profit anything in any way. As said, at least I am honest about it, and wasn't caught.

Please take your rabblerousing elsewhere, since you seem to be trying to get a rise out of people for the hell of it..

I never traded anything to FYE myself, but during the big sale they had before I noticed a few "Used" PS2 games that still had the security sticker on the top spine. YMMV though.

The reason you see "used" PS2 games at FYE is because when they "bought out" Media Play, they had to dump excess inventory that didn't sell. Rather than liquidating it, they re-introduced it into the inventory as "used", thereby getting 100% of the profits. If you see a security sticker, it's because it's new inventory being pawned off as used. When FYE first opened, everyone went ape over it trying to get stuff once they figured it out. I landed a lot of "used" games for decent prices that way..
