Yes, being cautious is good. Philly gets 4 codes and the other person has to wait 6-8 weeks to see if they verified and sent you the winning item. At this time the only guaranteed prize is the points, we have been entering the contest like crazy.

I tried it about 70 times just now and got a 100 point code around try number 50. It is certainly not worth it for that, but the 48 hours codes that I now have a crapload of are nice. I don't need them (got Gold through most of 2009 thanks to various CAG deals), but my 2 boys can use them on their accounts. For example they had wanted to play Bomberman online but I didn't want to get them regular gold memberships just for that. Now, it's no big deal ;). So it was worth the 40 minutes or so I put into it late tonight (or this morning, actually).

Its the code for a free entry, since I beleive the law states that there is no purchase necessary to enter any type of contest, or something like that. And it was just easier to make a reusable code for everyone that wanted a free entry.

You guys winning multiple things need to be a bit careful - they do have a lot of verbiage about one per person/per day. They could certainly cancel multiple prizes to one person if they determine they were obtained in the same day. Sorry about that seen, I was just going to post that they seem to let loose a flurry of 100 points codes tonight. I've been trying on and off all evening (probably 2-3 hours total while watching TV, helping the boys play the 360, etc). Finally I sat down to do it some more late tonight while waiting for the CC fiasco to unfold (no discount online for the 1600 points cards as promised in the ad). I just got one, tried to enter it in on the site, it would say the page was unavailable so I went to enter it in on my 360, it worked, but where my points were it just showed "..." and when I went to buy something it just say "an xbox live error has occured", should I be worried or is live just having some problems.

That's great, but the faceplates are NOT worth $39 :lol:. I'd say they aren't even worth $10. Hell, I was happy to trade one for a 100 point code earlier :lol:. (I do have 2 more coming in, so if they sell for anything over $5 I'll probably just sell them) - I don't want to mar the appearance of my Elite with some product placement faceplate!)

Turn on AutoComplete, that way you never have to type in the aa4xpn3 (memorized :lol:) and just the first couple of letters of verification.
