Hi, I'm looking for a stereo that has a USB port on it that would allow me to plug in my MP3 player to listen to music from that. I want something similar to this http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-2/qid=1185326759/ref=sr_1_2/601-7697132-7075341?ie=UTF8&asin=B000JQ2VIO
however that is a little expensive. It doesnt have to have a lot of wattage and it doesnt have to be Philips brand. I'm open to any suggestions and anything would be helpful. Thanks.

Yeah, I've been looking for the same thing. Though you probably won't find any with a USB port. From what I've seen they use a standard stereo connector or an iPod interface.

I've been using these for the time being. They sound pretty decent at low/normal volume levels and work with any MP3 player (you don't have to attach the PSP cradle if you don't want it either).

Instead of that why don't you find something with auxiliary input, I am sure it would be cheaper and easier to find.

I agree. I recently bought a pretty cheap system at Walmat that I use all the time to listen to my MP3 player. It uses a line from the earbud jack to the aux in. It was only about $40 but it plays well and it has the same end result you are looking for.

the male/male cord is $6 at radio shack. Works great in my car for my mp3 player. I think just about every stereo has a headphone output
