Hi. I finally decided to purchase a nextgen console, so while I wait for my paycheck next week I'am doing some research on how to save money on games and whatnot, cuz the console is going to cost me a lot of money to say the least. So renting games online seems to be much cheaper and better then renting at a store. Few websites that I found:

www.gameaccess.com I liked this one the least, because shipping takes way to long(4-6 days) since I live on vancouver island and they are on the other side of the country. They also charge for the fast return function.

www.rentgame.ca Seems like a solid company. I emailed them about shipping times and got an answer within an hour, they say it takes 2-4 days even across the country. They also got a fast return option for which they dont charge, which is great since it cuts wait time during shipping in half.

www.canflix.com They got games as well as movies which is a plus. Also they are located in Calgary so shipping shouldnt be to long for either side of the country, I have yet to receive an answer from them for exact times though.

Anyway these are the 3 websites that I could find, if there are more out there(there should be) please post them. Also post the feedback for above sites if you have use/used them.

Another thing I wanted to ask about is the online stores that sell preplayed or new games for cheap. Oh yeah and the store has to have shipping available to Canada obviously. EB games sells preplayed games as well but I heard they rip you off way too much.

Thanks for the help.

As for cheap PPV games keep an eye on the forums and your local Rogers Video (not sure where on the island you live, I live here too though :)) to watch for 2 for $40 and 2 for $30 deals. That's a great way to stock up on used 360 games or ps3 or wii whichever be your choice.

I've been a member of GameAccess for over a year now, and I really like the service. I'm in Ontario, so the shipment time is usually 3 business days, which is decent. Yeah, I wish the Fast Return wasn't extra, I can't be bothered to pay more. I'm on the 2 games out at one time plan, so I don't really care how long it takes in the mail as I have the other one when one is in transit. I also like the fact you can keep the games as long as you want, I'm pretty sure I've had some for 2+ months before I get around to sending them back. So the flexibility is really nice for this type of online service; GameAccess or other.

Unfortunately with these queue systems, you might not get the top game on your list. I think with GameAccess I've always gotten in the top 5 however, and if it's something I'm dying to have on release day, I'll buy it, or go to Blockbuster/Rogers Video. Anyway, I give a thumbs up to GameAccess.

Canflix is by far the best deal, and they have movies (including blu-ray and hd-dvd). Unfortunately, atleast for PS3 games, I have had a lot of trouble getting what I want. They tend to send me movies instead of games all the time. Also for PS3, they tend to be quite slow to get new releases. My friends only put games on their 'flixlist', and they have had better results...

I think gameaccess.ca and rentgame.ca are a lot better for gamewise, but you pay more, and don't get movies.
