Byran Singer who did the X-mens has picked up Superman for filming. He's good people and I think he'll do a great job.

I had heard that he may do this. All I have to say is that it's 10 times better than having McG direct it.

It's official that he's going to do it. But it also means no 3rd X-men for like 5 years.

I'd rather wait then let someone like McG destroy the new Superman film. I mean did you all see the 2nd Charlie's Angels movie? If you did you know what I mean, if you didn't then spare your eyes the horror.

I would much rather see X-Men 3 then a new Superman movie.

I prefer X-Men over Superman anyday but Bryan Singer (the Director) said he was a Superman fan for the longest time.
It may be good that he takes a break from the X-men series. He did a great job with the first 2 movies and the last thing I want him to do is burn out.

Actually Michael Bay is directing it, not Bryan Singer.

I bet hes gonna be in it, sure his legs are fucked, but they can do anything with special effects nowadays.

It's posted on yahoo, cnn, imdb, upcomingmovies.com, ect. And they all say he's replacing McG. So yeah, they said McG was going to do it last week but got replaced. Byran will do a great job. Give me a link to this Micheal Bay BS.

That part of the DVD is hysterical.
Producer: "No, no, we're not gonna do the cape. Too gay. And he isn't gonna fly. That's overplayed."
Kevin Smith: "... this is a Superman movie we're making, right? And you don't want him to wear a cape or fly?..."

I personally don't think they should make a new Superman film at all. It's sort of like a slap in the face to Chris Reeves. I mean those movies define Chris Reeves and seeing as how he can't exactly make anymore movies, at least let him have the Superman title.

It's a lousy abreviation of his last name. Guess he'd thought it'd be cool...

So Clark Kent is Superman? You know, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making the world think he didn't exist.

The cape was too gay but they've hired Bryan Singer? Have they seen X2? One of the main plotlines was a metaphor for gays coming out to their families.
Perhaps it was just the Joel Schumacher brand of campy gay they were worried about. Of course, this was the same Jon Peters who had to have a giant spider. Nothing could be worse than letting either of them near any more comics adaptations, unless they're intentionally already tilted that way. Perhaps a live action 'Amibiguously Gay duo' would be better suited for his talents, although he might have difficulty maintaining the ambiguous part. He's one of the few people I can think of that my gay friends hate for being too flaming.
