Does anyone know if the 94' Fox X-men series is coming to DVD in volumes? That show rocked and I miss it. Their releasing every past TV know to man in DVD boxsets and they can't get this one out? With the recent release of Batman, do I have a hope?

I don't know, I really hope so, that was a great show. It'd also be cool if they made a boxset of the 90's spider-man cartoon also.

I would be happy to see DVD seasons of Spider-Man and X-Men. How many seasons did X-Men last? I was not really into the X-Men when it was on, so I only watched it a few times.

Why don't you check TVShowsOnDVD.com (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/)?
They have all known info about any show that was ever on TV coming to DVD. Or just about all of it, at least.

I already have every episode of the animated series of X-Men on DVD on 7 discs with menus with a custom box and cover.

I got it off eBay, but I just suggest you guys might, the quality varies by episode, but overall the quality makes it not worth getting.

Ive thought about buying illegal verisons of Spider-Man and X-men, and I might cave in if they dont announce offical releases within a year or two.

I don't think they are going to release it. Reason being that because one of the higher ups will think that an X-Men boxed set would be to much the shit, and would cause another "baby boom". Because it would give all 18-35 year olds confidence and they would be able to get any girl they want.
And umm, women who go to K-Mart would O the instant they picked the X-Men boxed set for their boyfriends.

I don't think it would end up that way. Yes, at first it will spark the girlfriends of America to go to K-Mart with intention of satisfying their men with this boxset. But then upon reaching the DVD selection they will see that "Jam" boxset which would immediately trigger the reaction of "God damn cartoon boxsets are stupid." Thus leaving without the X-men goods and make millions of boyfriends sexually frustrated. Quite the opposite of a baby boom.

These are great sites and they lead to several helpful sites about this. I know the X-Men series has been discussed for a while. Same thing happeed to Batman Animated and Superaman Animated but they are finally being released as box sets after a lot of fan pressure.

as yet there is no official release, email fox to let them know what you think, I am sure it will eventually see a release and would not be suprised if it came out around xmen 3, all things comic book seem to be in demand at the moment. The gargoyles is seeing a dvd boxset release so...

check out animatedbliss.com as a good resource in general and on top of any info when the xmen set does decided to street

If a Gargoyles boxset comes out before a X-men, that's when I start hitting people.

Too bad Gargoyles ended so soon, it was pretty good. X-Men Evolution is getting episodes DVD so I can't understand why the original series is not being worked on. It is much better but vherub is right, you have to get involved and send emails and letters to help. I have a nice form letter I use and mail it these companies to help any show I would like to see come out, it actually works.

Did you get the version where all the spines line-up to form a picture of the x-men? Which seller did you get it from? I've been thinking of getting both the x-men and spidey sets from e-bay and recently asked the question if they would ever get officially released on another board. One of the replies to my question said that Marvel was suing Disney (Buena Vista) over previous releases, which if true, doesn't make it sound promising for the Spidey and X-men sets.

Fox doesn't own the rights anymore. Disney/ buena vista owns the rights. The seem perfectly happy releasing DVD's of 4 episodes everytime and Marvel movie comes out at the theater and on DVD. Email disney.
