your saving $15 off a good game, it's just been recently they DOTD has been of crappy games. This is a fairly new and decent game and if I didn't already own it I would be all over this. Outside of ebay our some type of rebate, you aren't going to find a better deal on this game.

Not bad, but I paid $15 for Halo Triple Pack at Kmart about almost a year ago for a console I actually have. :p Halo 2 ain't bad, but I think it was rather late to bring it out for PC at this point.

If you don't have an Xbox or 360 and have Vista, knock yourselves out.

umm you didnt expect to do so with a gforce7600gt right... fork up 140 bucks and get a relatively old (but newer than yours lol) 7900gt and ull run it just fine

There is actually a way to play on XP, but it is some sort of hack through the CMD IIRC. Personally, I am hoping MS gets some sense and realize that releasing a patch for XP use would get more copies sold than shoving Vista down our throats. Really, I know of no one even bothering to get a copy, even if they have Vista, most that do want it aren't on Vista either and refuse to update yet... :D

Oh well, I'll be waiting until it's under $25 regardless! ;)

Considering I had some mad strange bugs trying to run Fallout 1/2 on XP I don't really see what your point is...

From my experience with Vista it really isn't as bad as everyone claims it to be, it's basically a more advanced looking XP with a lot more security features to prevent the OS from getting hacked and updates and changes to code in the OS that was prehistoric... that being said I played the hell out of Halo 2... 3 years ago was it... when it was released on the XBOX so I see no reason to purchase this game now.

It seems people think it's nothing more than a more bloated version of XP. Oh well, I'll get it on my next PC, assuming it's still around by then. Just bought this one a year ago and won't buy another PC again for at least 3-4 years from now. At least that'll give me time to see if MS patches it enough. ;)
