I am really interested in buying a flip video camcorder or similar product. For those that don't know this is a digital video camera that allows you to instantly upload videos to the internet. I have been looking for a way to put videos on the internet from a camcorder for some time now and this product seems to be the answer.
I am not looking for super high quality video here just something basic to record things as I have never owned a camcorder before, but you have to be able to see the video obviously and it has to be reasonable quality.
I need something that will work well in low light situations, I have heard the flip video does this better than other models of camera. I will be filming videos in arcades which are not terribly low lit but I need something that will work in a moderately low lit indoor situation. I want to specifically get some video of a certain arcade near me which has some amazing old machines that are still in operation before the games die and borrowing a camcorder is not going to work.
I was wondering if someone here could give me some feedback on these products, maybe even show me some videos they took with them. I don't have to buy this right away, I am waiting for the right time, also does anyone know if some similar products are going to be released soon (perhaps in time for the holidays), I am going to assume the holidays are the best time to buy.
