I already said in another thread that some of the hairstyles you will be able to get are

- Jerry Curls
- Afro
- Flat top

Also The game will apparently have 12, count them 12, small towns as well as the 3 major cities.

Also according to an Italian mag there is a possibility that you will be able to get and switch tattoos throughout the game as well as clothes.

Also Dan Houser from R* has reportedly said that he cannot find a way to finish the game in less than 150 HOURS!

UPDATE

First of all - so you can get an idea of how huge this game is - there will be 3 major cities each the size of vice city, 12 small towns, a mountain, a desert, a forest and other countryside including one or more farms.

Also, yet to be confirmed, though I remember a R* rep saying the game will have raised highways, and if you look at some of the pics they seem to be there.

Here are some more pics:

Doesn't that look like a highway/freeway/expressway in the background?

1st one says something about a police helicopter looming near when Carl takes the tanker.

2nd says something about the mobile vehicle being a new vehicle and uncertain if you can cook in it..

3rd says something about helicopters and planes used for urgent movement because of the enormous size of the cities or something..

4th says something about trees and details..

UPDATE

Here is some new mission info from gta-sanandreas.com

"In the first mission they got to see, CJ had to help out a homie because a motorbike gang was after him. CJ gets the gang to follow him in a chase, while his friend goes to safety. The gang follows CJ because they think that CJ’s friend is in the jeep with him. They have a deep chase through a forest, and throughout the chase CJ cannot let them find out that his buddy isn’t actually in the jeep with him. Once CJ gets passed a checkpoint, the chase is over, and his buddy calls to tell him that he is okay. The prize for this mission is a simple $400 in CJ’s pocket.

In the next mission, the starting position is again different. This time, CJ starts at a trailer park in one of the small towns. Once there, he finds out he has no choice but to kill an important witness that is hiding out in Mt. Chiliad. Once CJ arrives there on the Sanchez, two FBI agents try to stop him. They don’t do very well, as CJ kills both of them like nothing. He then goes on to get the witness, and kills him as well. The man he is doing this mission for said that he wanted evidence that this witness was dead, so CJ then has to take a picture of the dead witness. Carl then drives back down to the trailer park, and the mission is passed.

In the last mission that Bravo Magazine got to see, Rockstar cheated to save time. They used a cheat to spawn a Dodo plane, because otherwise it would have taken 15 minutes. That should give a picture to some as to how long it will take to get places in the game, due to the size of the map. CJ gets in the Dodo, and flies around until he lands by a small hut in a forest. This is where the gas station mission starts, where the unknown chick and CJ try to steal a gas tanker.

Bravo Magazine also stated some new information about the game. The 12 small towns don’t consist of much. Most of them contain a couple buildings, trailer parks, liquor stores, and more. It was also mentioned that there will be realistic truck and trailer physics. One of the most interesting things is that when a player is flying the radar will change from the map to a diagram of the horizon, so that handling is easier."

Does anyone know if they are going to include Hard Drive support?

I hear the load times on the PS2 versions of the GTA games suck.

Switching islands or going indoors is only a couple of seconds for both games. Next time don't listen to xbox fanboys.

Doubtfull. Have you been paying attention to how huge this game is? Not to mention Dan houser never said anything about 100% - he only mentioned finishing the game which usually means finishing the story.

UPDATE:

"We learned long ago that Carl will be able to and will need to eat in GTA : San Andreas. Game$pot put that feature into much more detail today though, describing several things. Some people might have thought that there will only be a few places to eat throughout the state. That is not true though, not only will there be a lot of places, but also a lot of variety. “Cluckin’ Bell” is a resturant that will offer chicken based products. If the players don’t feel like eating chicken, they can stop by “Burger Shot” to eat some burgers. To order and pay for food, the players need to stand in a red circle next to the counter. This is probably very similar to Vice Cities pink circles.

Along with the places to eat at, Game$pot also mentioned some more of CJ’s physical features. If he eats too much food in a short span of time, he will vomit. You can view how fat Carl gets in the screenshots found on their oh so cool site. They also mentioned that just because CJ might be thin, doesn’t mean he is in shape and physically fit. Sometimes players need to take Carl to the weight room and work out."

- from gta-sanandreas.com

Also, according to the above site, Gamespot is going around asking San Andreas fan sites to to basically cease to be and remove all of their news and pics. Maybe they are miffed that their site sucks when it comes to San Andreas info.

I am talking about the initial load of the game. I read on IGN that VC took a minute for initial load

It gets old though. I hate having to wait for games to load up.

I may just end up waiting for the PC version. I still need to finish up some more things in Vice City, and I can change out the soundtrack.

HD Loader would help that. Although I wouldn't know since it's been over 3 weeks since I bought the fucking thing and have not received my product.
