This is a great deal for anyone who doesn't have a N64 yet. They have some great $4.99 games available.

I already have an N-64, but I might jump in on this anyway. I need a replacement Xbox (damn v1.0 w/ Thompson drive!!!!) and if I recall Gamestop is still having a deal where you can get a new Xbox for 119.99 with trade in of a N64 . So I trade in my N64 and purchase one of these systems by buying 3 games (about $15-20). If my math works I end up with a new Xbox and 3 new-to-me N64 games for about $140. Anyone see any problems with this?

Sounds good to me. I doubt you could get a Xbox for much cheaper - unless you buy one used.

I'm also thinking about trading in towards a new Xbox at Gamestop. I called my local store and they said the deal was: new Xbox for $119 after trade in of a playstation 1 with one playstation 1 game or a N64 with 1 N64 game. So you could end up with new Xbox + 2 used N64 games for about $140.

i got Hexen, Quake, and Turok for $5 each for my free N64. time for some FPS action, although this is my second N64. i bought one for my sister also, so that's three in the house.
i was going to do the deal again today, but the good cheap games were all gone.

Great deal, but a shame most of the good games are gone, the ones that are 5 dollars that is. And I just bought that 19.99 Dreamcast with 6 games, too. Bah.
Oh well... Perfect Dark, Blast Corps... all not even mentioned.
I'd recommend getting Duke Nukem 64, Banjo Kazooie, and Diddy Kong Racing, though.
The selection is limited, but you could just buy the N64 for 15 dollars anyway if you wanted, since there are no three 4.99 games there worth your time. All the good stuff is around the 10 dollar price range, not bad, but not 5 dollars...

Yeah, but even if you buy 3 $10 games, what you are forgetting is that the N64 is included. So $30 for 3 top tier N64 games and a system is still a pretty good deal IMO.
EG: You can get Blast Corps, Mario 64, and Goldeneye plus a system for under $30. 3 games that have gotten rave reviews.

I do believe so, unfortunately, I've yet to find an EB that sells older games. :?

Got mine in today.
It was the black version with a blue controller - both very clean. As a huge bonus - it came with an expansion pack!
Can't beat that & 3 games for $14.99.

I got Bomberman 64, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye 007 + the N64 for a total of $28 dollars. I would liked to have picked up a Paper Mario, but I can't imagine paying $30 for only the cart.
