I will be not too long from now. Although I'm a little worried about it, my grades have always just been 'ok'.

Currently at the mighty New River Community College, transferring (I hope) to Radford in the spring.

Which reminds me, I really need to hurry up and gather all my shitty transcripts from old colleges. (Radford will be my 6th school, I rule)

EDIT - Oh and OP, if you go to VA Tech I can show you how hard it is to find cheap videogames down here. I swear to god, this Kmart had stuff one freakin' time.

I will give this advice to everyone. 95% of the books you buy are useless. Do not buy books until like a month into the term. teahcers use the the first week and forget them. Saves hundred of dollars.

QFT! If you need the book borrow it from the library for an hour. Last semester I had English, Psych, Philosophy, and Art History. Never bought any of the books and passed all my classes.

My parents would never let me get away with that...

If you're thinking of engineering, you should consider the University of Michigan. We're much better than Purdue, and that's not just me being biased. :D

Saves hundred of dollars. All the books I've needed have been crucial for my classes (I'm getting college credit through the local CC right now).

Yeah but isn't Michigan a shithole?

(Just what I've heard from the Michigan CAG's, is all)

Mostly...but Ann Arbor is one of its redeeming qualities, especially if you're there for college.

Are your parents paying for the books?

I spent $110 dolars on a book I used once because we needed the newest and special fucking bullshit edition. To this day I want to kill that bitch "teacher" she was the worst teacher I had in college and that is saying something, I had a lot of bad teachers.
