I started ebaying my old, rare PS1/Saturn/Sega CD stuff and now I'm addicted to selling stuff. I saw clearance Sirius radios, bought them for $25, sold them for $55; but today, I saw Wii Sports used at an EB, bought it for $8.99, put it up for $50...(which is about midrange for a complete Wii Sports right now)....ugh, I can't wait for school to start again, so I can get back to teaching and not be so damned addicted to selling stuff, and trying to swing a deal...on that note, I'll be putting up RADIANT SILVERGUN (which I will ship free to a CAG if he wins) on Sunday evening, with a few other rarities...so I'll bump this thread on Sunday after I post more stuff...
Here's what I have up now:

It includes a MINT copy of Bust A Groove

Wii Sports at EB? I thought they didn't take trade-ins on that...

They take trade-ins on it, it's just excluded from deals...so if it's worth 2 bucks, that's all it is worth, no bonuses, no extra...

There has to be some way of reporting you for selling a FREE, INCLUDED Wii game.

I'm thinking probably all month.
He would have done the same thing and will probably be looking out for Wii Sports the next time he goes into EB Games.

Jackasses selling games that come with the system automatically and jackasses selling individual parts of a bundled product that cost them $50 for $50 each are despicable. I have never and would never do something like that. Why can't people make money the working-class way instead of swindling each other? I apologize for having morals and being "dumb".

He didn't create the market for the game. If people are willing to pay 50 dollars because they didn't get the game maybe because they bought the system used or whatever, then he has every right to sell it at that. There's nothing morally wrong with it. Is it morally wrong for people to get 300 dollars for a wii, they paid 250 dollars? No, because that is the market price on ebay.

how is this a moral problem? People buy Wiis without Wii Sports. Then they go on an AUCTION SITE and BID UP TO $60 on their own FREE WILL.
and like I say to all the people who cry "hoarder," retail stores buy things for cheaper than they sell to you-- are they also morally corrupt? No, it's a fucking capitalist society. I think it's ridiculous that people get upset when others use a perfectly legit way of making money as if retail stores are the only ones who have a right to sell items. you really have no right to be so condescending. it's rude as hell.
so if you can prove to me hoarders are driving up prices on their own and forcing buyers to buy at those prices, go for it and I'll take back everything. but you'll have to explain how demand is not part of the equation in ebay prices. good luck!

Well, I'm a Chicago Public School teacher, and there is no one more who is more working class than a public school teacher. As for morals...well...I'm pretty sure I have those as well....
As for "swindling"...every person who bids on the game knows the game was free and packed in with the Wii...they can do what hundreds of millions of people do every day and NOT BUY IT! Now, if I was selling them land in Florida, the Golden Gate bridge, a box of bricks labeled gold nuggets...then I would be "swindling" them. Seller and buyer both know what they're selling and buying.

I don't get that at all. What are you supposed to do with the bundled parts you didn't want? Why not see them? I sold the remote that came with my launch 360. My friend sold his stock rims from his new car. Heck, I remember selling the thermos from my lunchbox kit in elementary school.
If you have something you don't want, and others want, why does it matter if you sell it?

Exactly....things are worth what people are willing to pay for them...one person's shit is another's treasure...and all that...

I enjoy selling on eBay... it's unfortunate that I can't find too many products that I can profit off of. I don't know a deal when I see it, unless I research it first :(.

You won't ever turn a huge profit, and you have to diligent about research and shipping, and you have to have a wife that won't kill you when your living room gets cluttered with shit.
But it is a lot of fun, and I made enough to pay off my laptop...but now I've got the ebay bug, so I'm sort of keeping an eye open for deals.

lol..so because he puts something on ebay that people are willing to buy, he doesnt have morals and is looking to take advantage of others?
Id have to say there are so much more things that are worse than this that you could spend your time bitching about.
Ill toss in 5.00 if anyone wants to start a collection to get Blade some pussy.
