Well, I just sent out a message to all my friends on XBL, with a pic of my 360 and it's RLoD... hmmm... but how did I do that? Oh yeah, my 360 is running just fine, even with the RLoD.

Wonder how long this can last.

now I know what you look like, and where you live! j/p that is really interesting. Maybe it's overheating? Dunno. That's crazy, but your console might be hanging by a thread.

I agree with him. It might work now but after you turn it off who knows. Can you still hear the fan running?

You are not getting the same 3 red lights that would be shown for a hardware failure, I don't know what 3 red lights in the 1, 2 & 3 quadrants means?

Here is the link for the red lights that show when there is a hardware failure (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907534)

Same thing happened with my other 360, the red lights would even change quadrants sometimes and such.

I assure you, this is the "general hardware error" RLoD, and yet, my 360 is running fine.

Also: my 360 is no longer getting the RLoD, I turned it off and on again, and it's back to normal, but as has been mentioned, it shant be long until it dies out for good, now.

Did you check and see what error code it is?

I've gotten two ring of lights as well, but both followed when I would turn my 360 on just to take out a disk and then turned it off immediately after pushing the tray back in. I've come to realize that it just thinks there's a disk in there it can't read but there's actually not.

btw, I only do this when I'm transporting my 360 between my house and the lake south of here.

I've gotten it at least three times in the one year span that I've own my 360, but a quick restart and everything was fine.

Guess we're just blessed to have the only two working 360s in the entire world over.

Your patient zero. The first person thats immune to the RLoD. Like that mom in 28 Weeks later.

We need to study your xbox so we can find a cure for the rest of em. ;)

your 360 was just feeling left out and decided to hop on the bandwagon.
