I have an auction, and I don't know how to settle this. here is the auction:

Ended July 3rd, payed the 5th. I received a message today that they did not receive it still and want a refund. All the other items (even other overseas items) have made it to their destination that were sent around the same time. The package went out 1st class International (also have receipt of postage paid, and filled out customs form.
Any ideas on how to handle this would be appreciated

Scan the receipt and customs form, and explain that sometimes items get held up in customs a little longer than usual. He still has 15 days to file a chargeback, so you need to stall for time

Basically if he files a claim and you can't prove delivery you are screwed. They will side with the buyer.

Did he pay via paypal?

paid via paypal, so I am screwed even if I can prove it was mailed out (and they opted for no insurance?)

Even if you can prove it was mailed out etc etc, youre screwed. Its all about proving wether or not it was delivered.

This is a PRIME example of why I dont ship out of the US anymore.
