What if GI Jane has esteem issues because she has tits resembling infected mosquitoe bites. Should'nt she be allowed a boob job? It would be like this

I don't know either....While it's certainly a benefit that won't, well, benefit the soldier during her service [at least not in a work-related way] I can see some logic to it.
If there are military doctors serving, who aren't doing anything [which I find difficult to believe, but possible] but are still 'on duty', and the soldier requesting the surgery is on her own time or taking approved, earned R&R or whatever, I'd rather have them doing surgeries, even cosmetic ones, than twiddling their thumbs doing nothing.
Of course, I have a problem with the choice of surgeries--I don't want the men [and i guess some women] in the military focusing on PFC Jane Smith's new armaments, instead of doing their job....
