Example one: Catwoman (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/catwoman/)
Example two: Garfield (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/garfield/)
Example three: The Cat in the Hat (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1127311-dr_seuss_the_cat_in_the_hat/)
Three movies that star cats or, in the case of "Catwoman," characters based off of cats. Three movies that bite the big one. Coincidence? I think not...

I enjoyed the Cat in the Hat. Cats & Dogs was a surprisingly good family movie. And if they'd make a damn Thundercats movie, I'd be in heaven. (Or a game for that matter)

I think you are forgetting about the Aristocats. It is possibly the greatest cat movie in the history of the universe. But yeah, cats suck. Dogs are much better. Not that there are many good dog movies, but still. I liked that one with the 2 dogs and the cat and they had to travel across the country to get home. I think it had the voice of Michael J. Fox. That movie was awesome.

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe...
Aslan was a big ol' cat.
Other that than, the only one I can think of is the already mentioned Cat's Eye.

I don't think a lion counts.

And yea, Homeward Bound wasn't too shabby (the 2 dogs and a cat trying to get home)

Tromack, that was homeward bound, and yea I loved that movie back in the day. And I second the fact that catwoman sucked.

Since lions have no been brought in, I must say Lion King. The original, not the new special edition. The added song made my blood boil.

He wasn't the cat. The cat was a female, he was the young, impetuos dog, there was also a older, wiser dog.

Was there a cartoon porno called Fritz or Fritzy the cat or something?
(that was on a trivial pursuit question)

Felix the cat. The movie was NC-17.

Felix the cat was an old cartoon. The X rated cartoon was Fritz the Cat.

Sorry, my bad. I had been told Felix at some point. And I know that it was an old cartoon, which is why it always confused me that there was an X rated movie. A statue of Felix the cat rotating was actually the first thing ever broadcast, if I remember my NBC tour correctly.
