Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops are $9.99 shipped, although Portable Ops is OOS at the moment. There's also a game called Disgea (which I assume is a typo for Disgaea), $17.99 shipped.
Also, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for PS2 is $18.99 shipped for preorder.

PKRipp3r does have a point. The GCO $10 coupon would work with any in-stock video game purchase, so unless Buy.com's regular price is already significantly lower, this thread isn't exactly news to CAGs.
When I read "Buy.com's GCO EXTRAVAGANZA!!!" I thought that there was a new deal announced, or at the least that all existing accounts could use the coupon again.
By the way, I thought pre-orders aren't eligible for the discount.

My fault on having the catchy title - deals like these should be missed, huh?
If you don't find a deal, oh well...others are bound to
And I'm unsure about pre-orders which is the main reason I haven't put them in the original post. Can anyone clarify how that works (on buy.com)?

By the way, I thought pre-orders aren't eligible for the discount. They are, or at least it worked for me. I preordered Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii back when you could preorder it for $9 shipped after GCO. Currently, you'd be able to get it for $14.39 shipped after GCO.
I appreciate the post...I rarely know about a decent GCO deal unless I hear about it here on the forum.

I think the GCO for preorders doesn't work for a lot of games. I've tried for both 360 and ps3 games and it wouldn't let me do it. Guess there could be exceptions though.

I draw the line at creating bogus e-mail addresses, but maybe I shouldn't. They obviously don't care about the "abuse" of this system because it has gone on for months. Am I missing something here? How does it help Google or Buy.com to not catch somebody doing 50 orders when they say they limit it to 1. I'm guessing this was covered in other threads, but since I technically exhausted my discount months ago, I haven't been following.

GCO $10 off is subject to Google's approval, which tells me that they can just say no to certain orders and you're left with $10 more on your credit card. That's why they let people order multiple times.

The Nunchuck is definitely a good deal, as is RE4. Wii points aren't too bad either, however the discount is probably better used on other items rather than the points. Is it limit one per CC, or something? I haven't done this deal, however I think I might bite on the Nunchuck or RE4.

I thought everyone here knew about the whole buy.com GCO thing already. Most of the items you posted are just retail - 10 from GCO anyways. The last time i posted a buy.com GCO item ($14 2gb Wii brand SD card, a deal even without the GCO) it raised a good number of eyebrows.
And if i recall from that same thread, someone stated that the reason Google isnt doing anything is because they can show online retailers the number of accounts registered on their google check-out system (wether it be dummy accounts or real accounts), and eventually have those popular retail sites implement the GCO system (without the deal ofcourse). Google is trying to monopolize the online check-out system.

I actually think this is less ethical than flipping games, FWIW. Flipping games, at least you have a commodity: Wal-Mart sells Tigger's Terrific Treasure Trove for $30, so getting $30 from them for a returned copy of Tigger's Terrific Treasure Trove seems more above-board than this.

By posting a new thread, you're implicitly saying that it is news. The Google Checkout $10 coupon has been around for a long time. It's just not discussed too often these days because a new account is required to use the $10 coupon, and most CAGs had used/abused the coupon long ago.
But I recognize that you recently came aboard in March so you probably missed all the commotion over people constantly posting GCO deals. I'm not trying to come down on you for just trying to highlight some deals for people, but what I would appreciate more is if this thread specifically highlighted deals that aren't just retail price minus $10.

I second what Cochese said, if we can confine all the "GCO" posts into just one post with all of the good deals you can get from it, that will deteriate the loads of spam-filled topics about the GCO and how games are "deals" from it.
Anyway, nice post O.P., I might pick up PoR for $10, I traded it in a few months ago to EB for $17+ in credit - so I'm still technically making a profit by buying it back for $10, haha - very good game though, I'm honestly not sure why I even traded it in to begin with.
They are, or at least it worked for me. I preordered Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii back when you could preorder it for $9 shipped after GCO. Currently, you'd be able to get it for $14.39 shipped after GCO.
I did the same thing. I guess I better check on that order. It has been so long and I haven't heard a thing since then. Do people get cancellation notices if they flush your GCO account? I know I used the same name/number as before, but then again I have only done 2 or 3 GCO things total since it started.
(Edit - Just checked my account and the order is still good for $8.99 shipped ;))

Yeah, I made about 5 orders with these guys so far (I just learned about it a few weeks ago) and I think there gonna finally get rid of my account.
I noticed when I ordered Metroid Prime 3 the order was only placed and I contacted them and they said there verifying my stuff... probably means, they know because I made quite a few orders with them already with the same phone number and all.
I asked to cancel the order, awaiting a response for that now.

I saw some decent Wii component cables ranging from $2.99 to $16.99 (official) + shipping. Guess I might have to invest in these now.

I've only made a total of 2 orders and all I've done was change my e-mail...hopefully its only a limit and they aren't taking the privledge of getting the $10 off with the same cc

I just ordered something and I got a tracking number and all, it just doesnt exist on the USPS database. After reading some of the review rating sites on buy.com... I'm kinda worried.

Has anyone noticed the free 1-year magazine subscription offer when you go to look at your cart? Looking closer at the details, it says you can decline the offer and "you may receive an allowance for its stated value," so it sounds like you can get a $10 rebate. Anyone looked into this offer? I'm wondering if I can get something for less than $20 including S/H and then use GCO and the rebate to actually make money...

Yeah, the cancellation went through. I got MP3 from Familyvideo cheaper than what I would of gotten it from them anyway (Buy.com w/ GCO - $43 to Familyvideo with new user coupon - $39).
The orders I made with them was...
Brain Age 2 - $10
2 GB Micro SD Card (Kingston) - $17 I think
Rune Factory - $18.99
Logitech Portable Speakers - $4.99
Tekken PSP - $13
It was good while it lasted!

Anyone preorder Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii from Buy.com?
I placed my order back in June when it was $8.99 after GCO ($18.99 + free shipping + GCO). Over the last few days, the listing has changed to state it was not available from the manufacturer and was not available for order...and then I checked tonight and there is no listing. My order is still listed as 'on order', though. Amazon still lists it for preorder w/ a release date of Sept. 24th.
Anyone have their order canceled?

I've seen the GCO so much on CAG but never considered using it. Man I'm dumb. This makes so make DS games great bargains. I'll be picking up Picross, Brain Age 2, Puzzle Quest (once it goes to $20), and who knows what else.
I just picked up A String Quartet Tribute To Coheed and Cambria's In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 for less than $5 shipped.
Whats a good amount of time to wait before placing another order?
