HOW TO USE COUPONS:

$5 Off coupon:

the coupon is good if you only purchase around $25 or exact on stuff. purchase stuff totalling $25, then you'll get to pay $20 after coupon.


20% Off Coupon: (found at other threads, go look for it)

the coupon is good if you will purchase any single item, regardless of the price and can be used on clearance and non-clearance item. purchase let's say 25th Anniversary GI Joe 5 piece set, worth $30, you'll only pay $24 after 20% Off coupon.


do the math people, one type of coupon will be good for one type of purchase. It's up to you which coupon that will suit your purchase needs. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

It is kind of YMMV, but most of the users here find relatively good luck with printed out coupon. I'd probably say 90% get the deal.

How can these cashiers not accept it? Of COURSE it's printed, that's the only way to get the coupon!

Anyway, the two coupons ARE CUMULATIVE!!! (But the $5 off coupon is really a $5 off $25 coupon.)

I just got back from Toy's R Us and got quite a decent haul:

Playstation Portable:
-Star Wars: Lethal Alliance
-Field Commander (!)

X-Box 360:
-Ridge Racer 6
-Tomb Raider: Legend

The first three are $10, Tomb Raider is $20. It took the $5 off all four games proportionally, the first three games were already 20% off, and then Tomb Raider: Legend had the 20% off coupon taken off of that.

Possibly I would have saved 50¢ if he had scanned the 20% off coupon first, since it took off the $5 and then 20% from that-so hand them the 20% coupon first (the computer might still do it the other way, but it might save you a few cents).

(I've been holding off on Tomb Raider: Legend-I love it, but I've been torn between getting the better looking 360 version, or the quieter/more-likely-to-be-able-to-play-it-in-20-years Playstation 2 version...still not sure I made the right choice.)

i think ALL branches of TRU would accept the coupons, as there have been diiferent ones for the past week, a $5 one, then 20%, then another $5 off coupon. you'll just encounter a bunch or d!ckheads.

those are another set of coupons, BUT for the 19th to 25th, ONLY.

it seems that TRU will throw coupons on us, just to get people to clean up their clearance items.
