This is my first official team up I've done on a drawing. My best friend Erik did the drawing and I did the coloring. I think it turned out pretty well. It's a pretty good pose IMO. As always, let me know what you all think. Thanks.

We'll be teaming up for some more drawings down the road so look forward to some more goodness.

The coloring job is okay, but I guess I'm wondering what kind of bright light source you'd have on the top of a skyscraper at night, especially since all the other building tops are completely dark. Maybe use more gradients to achieve more shades. The shading towards the tips of the scarf/cape looks sort of odd.
As for the actual drawing, I think the angle that the sword is being held at should be made so the sword tip points to the side/back and not in front; an alternative pose would be to use a sharper bend in the sword arm since the way you'd swing that kind of sword would have the blade up front and the elbow pointed forward. Also, the sword looks rather skinny; take a look at Strider in a game like Marvel Vs. Capcom and check out the attacks.
Overall, it's a good drawing, considering it was your first team drawing. Out of curiousity, what programs were used to make the drawings? And did you guys ever consider completely hand drawing the stuff?

I honestly HATE that style of cartooning.... but it's not just this picture. Great coloring, very professional looking. :) Good job :)

how do you make the background look blurry?

Looks like he just took a picture of a couple buildings and applied a sepia filter. Minus huge style points for shameless use of lenseflare.

Thanks for the input. Actually, the drawing was hand drawn then scanned into the computer. The only things done in the computer was the coloring which I did in Photoshop.
