Hey all,

I live in a fraternity house and our current router is a Linksys BEFSR41 V3.
Well, it really sucks for gaming. One guy plays warcraft 3 a lot, and he has to reset the port forward before every game search, or else he gets an error. I just got mythos beta, and I get disconnected every 5 minutes or so. It also assigns the same IP to multiple computers quite often.

So anyways, I was looking for suggestions for a good router. Wired or wireless would be fine. Perhaps if we get a wireless I could push the wireless part to get more people on board for pitching in money for it, but either would work.

I have been looking at the D-Link gaming routers (4100 and 4300), and was thinking that they might be a solid choice. They are a bit spendy, was wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper router that would work good for sharing a cable connection to a LAN of about 15 computers (probably about 6 gamers).

Thanks

Get the WRT54GL and reflash the firmware to DD-WRT.
