If you're lucky they will have them. I already have the 42" series of this TV and this is a steal since they are clearing them out. If you were going to spend $600 on an HDTV, make it this one. I believe it's in store only as well at Fry's. Sorry about that

This post would be so much more useful if you told us what store exactly you're referring to.

Nah, I like searching the limited number of stores that sell TV's and asking around. Call me...Dog: The TV on sale Hunter

Agreed. A 50" Sony HDTV is a steal at $600.00. If only we knew where to look. . .

Free US $100 if you're lucky you will find it on the side of the road I was able to find a US $1 someone must have dropped.
Good Luck and happy hunting also YMMV

Well I have a KDF-50E200 and love it, If the OP will tell us where the deal is I would agree its a steal. For reference I paid 1459.99 last Labor Day Weekend at Best Buy this was after 12% off and a price match from Circuit City.
UPDATE
After some internet looking it seems it a In store deal at FRY's per a thread on SD... a few city's in the thread say Dallas , Atlanta, and Sacramento but others have called in there area to confirm the OP's price.
If you have a Fry's and they have it jump on it
42" 499.99 KDF-42E2000
50" 599.99 KDF-50E2000
55" 699.99 KDF-55E2000

I would spend $600 on a 50" SONY HDTV any freakin day. But the cheapest I see at frys is $999 for a 42".

My family's got the 42" one. It's a nice TV. Personally, I overwhelmingly prefer flat panel LCDs, but it's hard to argue with that price.
