At my local supermarket they have 12pack cans, 2 liter bottles, and 20 oz bottles.

I rather like it, but it is quite sweet. Then again, all Mountain Dew is a bit sweet. It reminds me of Baja Blast mixed with a little bit of equal parts Live Wire and Code Red.

I like regular Mountain Dew and Code Red, but Code Red is just on the verge of too sweet. If Game Fuel is even sweeter, I don't think I could deal with it.

It does have more caffeine per bottle than a Red Bull.

I thought the Game Fuel was OK. First sip wasn't bad. By the end of the bottle, I ddidn't want anymore. It's too sweet. Plus, it didn't go well with the 3 McChickens I was eating at the time.

Best Dew ever is Dew with Lime. And NOT that Baja Blast bullshit. Use a real lime, 1/2 a lime for 1 can.

Red Bull is nasty.

I miss the original mountain dew grape that was around a couple years ago (not that sour "2" shit).

What they need to do is make LiveWire in more than just 20oz bottles. They probably do, just not here...

It's not horrible, I've had worse. The one thing I notice is that it has this dayquil aftertaste. Sometimes it's heavier than others, but definately orange dayquil with less bite.

Picked up a 20oz at QT this evening to give it a try. I don't like sugar sodas, I don't like mountain dew even sugar-free. Picked it up to support my friendly neighborhood Master Chief.

WAAAAAAAAAY too sweet.

Back when I joined the Marines, we didn't have any fancy-schmancy tanks. We had sticks. Two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon. And we had to share the rock.
I really don't think Spartan or Sgt Johnson would drink this.

In terms of Dew, I still prefer Baja Blast.

Can't say I know too many gamers who drink a shitload of caffeine before they play-- that's just asking for a migraine. maybe a coke or some coffee, nothing out of the ordinary.

I drink a 16oz full throttle energy drink before I play. I think it has162ml or along those lines of caffeine. It even has a warning below it starting it is not recommending for pregnant women, or those sensitive to caffeine. I usually drink one while I am gaming, I don't get headaches from caffeine. It helps keep me awake and more alert while I game.

So, I'll jump on the I really dislike this new flavor bandwagon. I was worried they'd taint it with that gross code red flavor, and boy did they. Why couldn't they have done mountain dew blue or something? Anything but throwing the leftover code red flavoring in a vat and mixing other random shit in. I would describe it as spicy cherry cough syrup. One 20 oz was enough for me. The label was pretty cool though.

Ok, after starting this thread, I figured I had to try it. Finally got a bottle today....it was on sale for $0.89 at Rite Aid. That was the best thing about it. The taste is rather odd. Not sure if it would grow on me or not. Also tastes like red flavor ice juice. Oh well, my one time.....had to follow through after I made this thread ;)
