I'm only qualifying this as a GOOD deal simply because:
It's a NEW game that just came ou and Buy.com has a really high shipping cost, and this is FREE shipping. Which in turn, make the $10 off better. The $10 off in general isn't really that great.. for when you pay $4+ on shipping.. when there's no shipping and the product is already cheap..AND it only came out a few days ago.. then it's ok.

Yes. I'd say the vast majority of CAG's have used this promotion to the point where it no longer works for them.

So when we start seeing GCO "deals," they're deals only for probably a small minority of readers on this (or any other bargain/shopping site) who've never used it before, or have only used it a couple of times.

For everyone else the $10 off/new account deal is long past dead. Which is why these GCO deals ought to be thrown into one thread so the rest of us don't have to see them pasted every few hours.

Well that I did not know. How many times have some of you used it? I probably did this around 8-10 times and never had any trouble whatsoever. But that's me--if people did this MUCH more then that..and it doesn't work then I can understand.

Why can this fraud be openly talked about but you can't talk about Wal-Mart returns. This deal is no different they making a thread about buying a game on sale (BioShock) for $10 off of MSRP then doing return fraud at Wal-Mart and then buying Brain Age 2 for essentially $10. Like return fraud someone is getting screwed, Google and Buy.com in this case. Where dose CAG draw the line? Don't say moral line because fraudulent activity isn't law abiding no matter how you justify it.

You only encourage more of these posts whose discount is a standing offer that no one can use a 2nd time and can use on any product. If they circumvent the system to use it a 2nd time then they already know about the GCO.

Even though I don't like seeing GCO deals posted (Post them without and mention GCO afterward) I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Sure enough the next day Google Checkout canceled the order. I don't know if it's my name, shipping address, or card number but I can't use the GCO discount anymore anyway.

To be honest I never thought much about it since the offer was severly time limited. That was of course before buy.com extended the offer exclusively. Either way it makes no difference now. I can't use it anymore with just a new email address and I don't plan on going to any further lengths to cheat the system.

I was almost feeling ripped off for my $15 spent on this game at CC, until I started playing the Sudoku. You might not want to trade the game in right away until you've at least played a few of the 100 Sudoku puzzles that come included with the game. There's also a lame version of Dr. Mario, the worst puzzle game in history, hidden at the bottom of the practice courses (simply click on the bottom ???) that you can "enjoy".

In a way, you're getting 3 mediocre games in 1! (...and you never have to yell "blue" into the mic this time.)

everytime I order something from buy.com w/GCO it gets cancelled, I've tried with multiple credit cards too. :(

Oh wow. They're cracking down on these huh? It's been awhile since I did a GCO. I think I've done three (or four?) of these total. Last time was for RE4. I like GCO though. I don't want my CC banned. :(

Honestly this deal is only tempting for the stylii (what a fun word). I think I've read that these are for the DS Lite? Do these not fit in the original DS model?

And to all the bitching...jeez. You know some people don't prowl around CAG all day long? Some people might not know about GCO? Ehh? I've never understood people who complain about FREE INFORMATION. No one is compelling you to click on these threads.
