I added the game and the free $10 gift card to my cart and set the game for in-store pick up and a glitch took an EXTRA $10 off of the price of the game.

Sadly you can't pick up gift cards in-store. I don't need my copy of Madden right now as I still have the game from Blockbuster but I definitely am loving the game, so I want to get my own copy. I haven't bought Madden in a few years and even then it was for the PS2, so I'll play the hell out of this and get my moneys worth.

Holy crap, talk about doing it just in time also. Not more than 5 min have passed since I placed my order and the Xbox 360 Madden 08 in that link just disappears. It seems that the only thing there when you access the link is the gift card.

The offer still works in-store with this coupon. Unfortunately I do not believe that the game will be 49.99, but you still can get the $10 gift card.

And for some reason I think the glitch came from the whole $10 off any game when buying Madden 08, because I added Halo 3 to the cart and it was deducted by $10 and Madden was back at full.

welp i did a store pick up when ordering and went into get it, and my order had been cancelled via bestbuy due to a price issue. and the store refused to honor it...

i ordered mine around 1ish, got the confirm and pick up email in less than 30mins, and picked my copy up around 5:30ish, it went through, but it took at least 1-2mins for my receipt to print out tho... now i'm just wondering if the gift card is going to ship....

i ordered the game at 1pm, had to be in work at 1:30.I used my lunch to go pick up at game at 4. When i got there the girl at customer service told me it wasn't ready and that i had to wait for the email before i could pick it up. Checking my email now, i see that i got the pickup notification email at 6:22. So i'll be picking up the game first thing in the morning.

ditto. ordered mine for pickup around 3:30, got confirmation but no second email. was in the area tonight so i stopped at BB, cashier said that my order hadn't been released by the system but that it should be approved "in about an hour". since i was already there, he offered to take $10 off madden, which i thought was pretty cool. in retrospect, maybe i should have just taken that deal.

apparently i think it's like this for all gift cards, they come out of a different location than the products you order
