They're jsut movies to make you laugh and escape reality for an hour and a half or so. I'll admit that Zoolander was an extremely stupid movie, but most of his other work is quite good. Meet the Parents, There's Something about Mary, The Royal Tannenbaums, Starsky and Hutch, Along came Polly, etc. He's got a pretty good filmorgraphy if you ask me. sure none of it is serious stuff like Schindler's List (which obviously you have never seen or nothing about Judaism or Jewish people in general), but his stuff is entertaining at the least.

He's moderately funny - but is best as the straight foil to a more outlandish actor. Some of his films have sucked (Along came Polly, Starsky and Hutch), while others have flirted with greatness (Royal Tenenbaums, Your Friends and Neighbors) Most of his films are funny and entertaining, but sink or swim depends more on the writer and director than him. He can't save bad material like Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, and other comedians can, but give him a good role and the lines to go with it, and he'll deliver the goods. His string of box office hits will guarentee him a spot in the $20 million club if he keeps up his hot streak. So, the answer to your question is, no, he's not a genius, but he knows how to pick a winner, and in today's hollywood, that's what matters most.

I'm still waiting for a proper response from him. I think he knows that he's a racist.
