Should I but Rainbow six now or wait for Killzone, SNowblind and Rouge Agent to come out to fulfill my online FPS craving

Rainbow Six on PS2 is very "meh". Get SOCOM II and pretend it's first person.

I've been hearing bad things about Rainbow Six on ps2. If you want an online fps, you should get Tribes: Aerial Assault.

Does any one play tribes? It didn't seem to popular so i'm afraid I'll turn it on and no one will be there to play against

I was wondering the exact same thing about Rainbow 6, if it was any good, I think that in this weekend's paper it's 19.99 at BB and of course 14.99 after GGC, so I guess it couldn't hurt to try it. I've heard and read that it is really good on X Box, maybe they ported it over well or they didnt, I'm not sure. Killzone looks to be truly amazing though.

Killzone will rule all. I can't wait either. And I guess RS3 would be worth 14.99, just dont' expect a lot.
I'd stay away from Tribes. Although many people play, most are dialup and it is extremely laggy. 16 players + half of them dialup + large map + vehicles = lag. I actually sold it because it lagged so much ass.

Yes, there is, but it's very basic and takes away a lot of the HUD. It's just crosshairs. You don't get to see your ammo, what stance you're in, or your health. :lol: , is there even a health meter? I can't remember, it's been awhile since I played. I think there is...

I've never come across an FPS where your primary mode of defense is jumping and flipping as you circle-strafe...
I would either get SOCOM or wait for Killzone. RS3 is sketchy at best, and until this thread I think I'd seen Tribes mentioned a total of three times.

Not sure if its a FPS but it looks pretty good.
