I'm told it's only a temporary price drop, but if you need some more storage for VC games and MUST have a Wii branded mem stick this is a pretty good deal.

you are completely retarded if you buy these. sandisk sells the same memory cards without the wii logo for around $10 and $20 for the one and 2 giggers. ANY STANDARD SD CARD WILL WORK IN THE WII!!!

Exactly...but some people love their branded accessories.
It's pointless anyway, half the VC games I have downloaded wouldn't transfer to the 512MB SD card i already had...Nintendo just needs to offer an external HDD.
