Hi,

I have a question for people who have both versions of FFVII. Are the backgrounds of the discs themselves different between the GH and black label editions? I'm thinking about buying a black label FFVII of my friend, but want to make sure it is really black label. The background of the disk is white, with a silhouette of a chocobo overlaying the disc number in light blue. Also, is there any way to tell if the manual is GH or black label? I know in most games, the manual would have the green stripe since it is the front of the game, but in a game like FFVII, I'm not sure how to tell the difference.

Thanks.

Kevin

White one is the original. Shiny silver is GH

As far as I can tell, all of the GH titles have silver disks.

Yeah I really don't mind the silver discs. I just hate the green labels on the outside cover. They're hideous.

Yeah, I refuse to buy the greatest hits versions, it ruins the look of my collection. I lucked out on Xenogears when the GH released and Gamestop dropped the prices. They had a regular edition in stock and I snatched it up at $17.99! Now it's gone back up, even the GH. Oh well. I asked for it for Christmas when it came out, but even then it was hard to find!
