Which games should I buy first?

This is a poll of most the games that have been getting the most press and this is to decide on which ones I should get when they first come out since I have some store credit stacked up at Blockbuster/Gamerush.

Already getting these:

Halo 3 Xbox 360 (First day it comes out)
Beautiful Katamari Wii (Girlfriend had me pre-order it cause she loves those games)
Guitar Hero III Wii (Another game for my girlfriend)
Stranglehold Collector's Edition PS3 (Don't own many PS3 games nor Blu-Ray movies so this is perfect)

The poll is what else I should mostlikely get before the end of the year. Also, you may vote for more than one or even add suggestions in your post which aren't stated. You can see by the list that I am mainly into shooters.

cdeener, where are you at in Detroit? Or are you in the burns like me? Anyway, I am getting Warhawk and metroid Prime 3 this week. I think both those should be worth the price of admission. I also have Mass Effect pre-ordered and that looks like it should be awesome. I would suggest any of those.

I would have voted, but I dont know which version of those games is suppose to be better or smoother. Overall I would say HL2 Orange box. Most bang for your buck and also probably the most replay value.
Maybe wait and see some reviews to see if it's better on 360 or ps3.

that's such a tough decision, but I went with orange box for 360. I can't remember a time when half life 2 ever let me down or not brought me joy.

Sorry, to tell you Kendal but I'm born and raised on the westside of Detroit near Southfield still here. I might eventually get Warhawk depending on how many PS3 games I own after these come out.

This is why I made the poll and will be bumping it when the games come close to coming out is to see which ones I would enjoy more because on most I'm leaning more towards the PS3 since I don't have many PS3 games I would like to play.

Heavenly Sword got good (but mediocre) reviews, nothing to be too excited about, and definitely doesn't belong with those other promising masterpieces you have on that list (not sure about Army of Two, either, but I'll relax my judgement right now as I haven't seen anything tangible on it).

Well, with Heavenly Sword just to play something on PS3 I will probably rent it instead of buying it because of how short it's suppose to be just to say I got a chance to play it.
