Best for me was Singapore Airlines. Decent food, very good service, decent amount of room (even in economy), and decent price.
Worst for me was Kuwait Airways. Horrible service, horrible food, most of the jets have broken seats and TV's, very little leg room. At least its pretty cheap...

Worst: Southwest. Flights were always delayed no matter what, poor customer service, poor logistics, and my luggage arrived 3 hours late once. I refuse to fly them ever again.
Best: Never had problems with Delta, AirTran, or Continental, though I wouldn't consider any of them my "favorite."

Delta is ok, but they are getting worse and worse. I'm not a fan of American Airlines.

ah ha, I knew southwest paid that A&E show "Airlines" to highlight that airline and only film the good terminals. It's all to make them look better!

Alaska Airlines are okay. They had good customer service. I missed my flight and they rescheduled it for no fees even though they were supposed to. The lines are usually short compared to the other airlines such as United or American. The food was good and they gave me some extra cause I asked. The only problem was, I was playing on my DS and we were about to land, so I was saving my game but this jerk flight attendant just grabbed it and snapped it shut. Bastard.

I've heard Air Sweden or whatever it's called has the best food, is clean and quiet and the flight attendants are Blonde Beauties. Sounds like a best in my book.

I like American Airlines; they were my favorite airline when I was flying a lot during college. I've liked Eva and Japan Airlines when going over to Asia.
I thought United was okay when I was a kid (one of the better options for my family to fly to Asia), but any US flight I've taken with them in the last 10 years has been total crap. I also can't stand China Airlines; they scare the sh*t out of me.

North West is the one I fly from college to home. Some people call it North "Worst" but I have had nothing but good trips.

I've been on United and AA... I've had no real problems. Last time I flew United was in 2001 (a month before 9/11) , I was originally on a connection flight and was due to arrive from VA to Miami in about 5-6 hrs due to the connection flight.. While in line the united people came up to me and said my fight as been changed and now I was getting a direct flight to miami and would be there in 2 some hours at no charge :)
I really don't know why people complain that the "flight was terrible" as all the times I have flown back from Miami to VA during my college years I had no problems.

JET BLUE
TVs at every seat, blue chips (or other snacks), never had a flight come late, and it's cheap.
Lately I've flown southwest a bunch and the seating thing where you line up is retarded. I don't care much about my seat (just don't like to be next to enormous people), but it's always a confusing mess and people are crazy about it.

Southwest seems to have the cheapest fares though. I know people hate it but it does seem to beat everyone else for cheap fares..
EDIT: Just like Happy above me, I don't want to sit next to enormous people

Delta Song was really nice when I was flying from Florida to Georgia (ultimate destination was Amsterdam). I also really enjoyed an airline I flew on from Scotland to Heathrow, London. I forgot what airline I was on, but it was quite nice. On the flip side, flying hope from Chicago to Florida, I had the shittiest plane experience ever, but it could be due to just getting off a plane from London.

Worst: Northwest. Cancelled flights, bad service, awkward flights (Detroit to Buffalo? why?) very bumpy.
Best: Southwest, Skyservice, Aitalia. Good food, plenty of room, a very smooth flight.

Best: JetBlue, They have clean planes, friendly people, great snacks and TV at every seat. Only Possible down side is they are late fairly often.
Worst: Southwest, They really are the bus of the sky.

Worst... eh, don't really have one. I guess if I had to choose, I'd say Northwest, but they've never been particularly bad.
Best: British Airways. Classy.

Best: Southwest
Southwest? Really? I have to say yes. I've flown on them over 20 times so far and not a single one of them has been a bad flight. The planes were clean, plenty of room overhead, and save for a few 5 minute delays because some passenger was running late, the pilots made it up in the air whenever they could. Granted, there's not much else to write home about but the dirt cheap fares pretty much does it for me. $80 for a flight home rather than $300 - $800 through US Air? Yes, please. GREATLY.
Worst: US Airways
Dealing with them for five years out of Pittsburgh pretty much made me resolve not to deal with them unless the fare is really worth it or if there is no other choice. Being left numerous times on the plane for several hours due to "weather" delays was bad enough, but the one time where we waited for three hours for no reason (no weather delays or issues in NY whatsoever or anywhere en route) only to have the flight crew max out their hours for the month (surprising since it was the 11th) was more than enough. Of course, that was followed with the flight being cancelled, everyone being told to reschedule their flights themselves, and only one kiosk being manned by anyone from US Air anywhere in the terminal. What service. Oh, and that one time where the ground crew filled up the wrong tanks with fuel for 30 minutes, then we had to wait another hour so they could syphon it all out and put it into the right tank. Brilliant.
It's always nice to know that you're better off renting a car and driving for 6 1/2 hours back home rather than taking a flight. Sure, the flight is still 90 minutes better than driving if everything goes to schedule but US Airways was never on schedule for my last three years. Delay after delay after delay. Forget them.

Southwest seems to have the cheapest fares though.
Except they don't, from what I found.

American Airlines and British Airlines can go eat a bag of dicks.
United Airlines is excellent.

I just had a hellacious experience with United. I actually had my flight switched to a broken plane that made me miss my connection.
In the last three years southwest has done well for me
