Okay, so I own a Dell Dimension 4500S. I am looking for help to try to find something that will not cost me a fortune, and will let me run World of Warcraft smoothly. I know that i need to buy more RAM, because I only have 256 MB, and atleast 512 is required. I also need to buy a new graphics card, but I am having trouble finding out what I have for a graphics card now. I also know my computer requires DDR 226 for RAM.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well I would say get a whole new comp completely because most likely your mobo and such is out of date. But if you only want to upgrade this is what I would get.

1GB of RAM off of Newegg, what ever is cheap at the time and looks good.
A Nvidia 6800 if you are cheap or a 7600 if you have more cash to spend.

That is what I would get.

Wow doesn't really require a good graphics card. I think if you have integrated graphics and you have bought your pc within the last year or two, you should be ok as long as you get more ram. You will notice a huge leap in performance with just 1 g of ram.

The game is still very enjoyable with all the settings turned down or off.
I think you should be able to look up your pc on dell's site and see what kind of graphics card it came with.

the 4500s doesn't look too bad... but like everyone else is saying more memory will definitely help.

make sure you shut down all other apps before playing since you're on an integrated video card

Instead of putting more money into crap, just wait for a dell desktop deal and then throw in a decent graphics card.

Bam play all new games on decent settings.
