Jade Cocoon 2, any good?

Self explanatory question. I have been eyeing it at the local gamestop but haven't brought myself to buy it (eventhough it is very cheap). Any thoughts from someone who has played it?

I agree with refusedchaos I really loved Jade cacoon 1 and only rented jade cacoon 2, but I liked both and I really wished I bought both also there was some parts that frustrated me, but I forgot what it was. >.<

Jade cacoon 2 is pretty fun IMO, but this was a long time ago and I haven't played it since, but I was big into poke'mon type games and both jade games were fun.

If you like the Pokemon formula of battle, upgrade, new monster (wash,rinse, repeat) it may be worth a try.

Just don't expect the best visuals or effects, it's a pretty bare-bones game.

One of the better RPGs on the PS2. Definitely pick it up.

Jade Cocoon was much better, but I think Jade Cocoon 2 was also worth it (especially if it's pretty cheap). Although, I never did finish it it. I got to the final boss a few years ago, couldn't beat it, and I put it down.

The graphics were nice at the time, but I preferred the 1st Jade Cocoon's battle system a lot more.
