Just like the topic says. My stepmother loves Freecell and has recently wore her Gameboy Color (yes GBC) out that allowed her to play a copy of Microsofts Entertainment Pack which was release for the GBC several years ago.

I'm considering giving her a DS with a copy of Brain Age, but I know she is going to want to continue playing Freecell.

So CAGers... Do any of the DS games feature that as a mini-game or option?

I know Clubhouse Games doesn't have it....but it does have a shit ton of other games. Maybe you can ween her off of Free Cell and get her into one of the games in Clubhouse.

I have Clubhouse Games and will most likely give that to her with Brain Age, but I know she has been a long time fan of it (curse you MS*) and will be asking.

*Hell, I like Freecell so much I try every version I find for OSX hoping to find one as well made as the Windows version.

PySol (http://pysol-osx.sourceforge.net/Home.html) has a version that's pretty spot on (plus dozens of other card games, including some interesting variations on FreeCell). It does crash once in a while (never in the middle of a game, fortunately), but other than that I don't miss Microsoft's version at all.

Touchmaster DS has Freecell (Called POWERCELL). It isn't as sexy as Windows Freecell and doesn't have numbered games, but it gets the job done. It has decent pile-move detection and good auto-move-to-home.

I find it shameful that more CAGs have not partaken of the delectable Touchmaster.

The trivia game alone makes Touchmaster a purchase. I've spent far too much time competing against my family in wireless play.

Besides powercell, there are several card games in Touchmaster that she may enjoy.

I was set on getting it until I found out it didn't have any real online play. I still play Clubhouse games online regularly, so I was hoping this would be a kind of alternative to that, but unfortunately the no online thing killed it for me. I'll probably still pick it up on the cheap one day, though.
