I am going, but not participating in any tournament, since I suck at games in general.
I will go there to watch and visit the booths though.

So I was at the LANFest today, and man, it was crazy!!!! I'm surprised there weren't more people there. Lots of prize giveaways, including Intel C2D/C2Q/C2E processors, ATI & nVidia video cards, cases, accessories, t-shirts, caps, posters, keychains, lanyard....etc. It was well worth the $5 admission.
A lot of demo computers there for trying games out on new hardware, and probably the most exciting one was 1 on 1 against Fatal1ty in Quake 4. Nobody seemed to want to go against him because he was RAPING everyone, as usual.
The event was a lot better than I imagined. Lots of music, girls (both models and gamers), nice lightings and atmosphere. I'd definitely would want to participate in the BYOC event.
Sadly I didn't bring my camera, so no pics.
