I have a new computer, with a fresh installed version of Vista Home Premium, and I've noticed that there are two versions of explorer.exe running. Both are in C:\Windows. While one is named "explorer.exe" and the other is "Explorer.EXE." Is that normal!? I've run various Spyware/Antivirus scanners, and nothing is coming up.

I've made a couple of Google searches, and I couldn't find anything regarding it and Vista, only about XP.

Try ending them both. After you've done that, go to the Applications tab of the task manager and click the New Task button. Type in explorer.exe and you should be set.

I'm running Vista ultimate, and I only have 1, explorer.exe, so the one with the caps is the one I would shut off.

Yeah, thanks. I've since restarted and only one version has been running. Weird...
