I have a generation 5 60 gig iPod and want to put the album artwork on it. So I made an account on iTunes for the store and I can not get the album artwork to load on the iPod. I am now able to get it to load when I put a CD in and import it. So my library of music has them but the iPod wont. Any idea as what to do? I looked on apples site and all I find does not work with the issue. I am also useing the newest version of iTunes.

step 1 uninstall shitunes
step 2 install mediamonkey
mediamonkey will not only go out and get the album art/info, but imbeds it into the mp3 so it shows up anywhere the mp3 does no matter what location/programs it gets moved to.

It wont grab album artwork from albums that iTunes doesnt sell. Just type in the album you want in google and do and image search. Then just select all the tracks in that album, right click and get the properties of the album, and drag and drop the album cover in the album cover art slot.
Easy.
iTunes has most, but obviously bootlegs, live CDs and albums iTunes doesnt sell, it wont find. I've only had 2-3 albums that didnt work, even through iTunes sells them.

Everything I have put in iTunes shows a cover for but one. Some of the stuff is covers that are different then the ones I have but are for the CD. Like I said the library has it but when it comes to puting it on the iPod it doesnt go with it. I would really like to keep useing iTunes.

Have you guys had any glaring mistakes from MediaMonkey getting the right album info? I've been meaning to organize my music files, but not to the point of editing each one since iTunes can't seem to get the info right all the time.

Once MM does a search, often it will bring back 10+ result. select the correct one with the pull-down option.

You have to pay for some of MediaMonkey's features =/

DesertEagle and the others of you who are familiar with MediaMonkey, I've got a few questions:
-Is there any way to undo an auto-tag from Amazon? I just noticed it messes up the correct album track listing I previously had for one of the albums I tried the feature on.
-I haven't closed the program following the mess-up, but why is the track listing on the top main window different from the one on the bottom next to the player? The auto-tag seems to have reordered it in the top, but the album on the bottom still has the correct track listing I originally had. (I hope that made sense.)
-What's the reason that the track name and artist will show up in that pop-up balloon in my taskbar? It seems random. At first, I thought it was only tracks that I rated 5 stars, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
-For auto-tagging, is there a feature that does an automatic search of all the files, or do I have to select each track or album separately?
