Avatar help, need guiding to get it on my profile. (Somebody!!!!!)

Please Help! I have the avatar but i can't get it to accept it on my profile page. Here is my aim/email address please be my knight in shining armor or better yet my...queen...in shining

I went to this website, found the pic, right clicked on it and clicked save picture as... and saved it. When i go to profile on this site and click browse and shows my pic on click on it and hit open and submit and i get the message, the avatar filetype must be .jpg, .gif, or .phg.

and it's 80 by 80

Wait I have a similar problem, I can shrink my image down to 20KB but its always a .bmp file, How do I switch the file type to say a .jpg?

open it in paint and choose save as and switch it to jpg

I find that .PNG(s) are better looking than .JPG()s in compressed format. :?
