I bought the game a little while ago and got the roster file with it for free. if anyone has the game and is interested i can forward the file to you. It has all the details on how to get it on your PS3, it is really easy. Just leave email if you want it.

Yes, although the 360 rosters are locked to a profile. You have to have a slight workaround to get them loaded...although it works just fine.
The forums are easy to navigate.

Thats cool, I had no idea it was free, while searching for the NCAA game on ebay I saw a whole bunch of people selling the digital file for like 2.99 or so and I figured I would just give it away for free. I didn't know it was already free. I was just trying to spread the love:) Good stuff, a mod can delete this if they want.

Most fan roster sites give them away from free. The only time it's not free is when memory cards have to be sent to those sites for the rosters.

It sucks that the PS3 is having framerate problems with sports games in 08 because custom rosters from operationsports.com are so awesome and easy to transfer to PS3. Rather then work arounds, memory cards, and transfer kits.

What framerate problems? NCAA has a smooth framerate, so the 30 fps isn't much of a problem.

According to the guy that reviewed NHL 08 for PS3 at IGN said he doesn't know if the game ran at even 30fps while the 360 version is a smooth 60fps.
I hope NBA 2k8 doesn't fall victim.

these games can run smooth at 30fps... like Madden 08, just runs badly on
ps3, there's a much bigger issue than just framerate. I'm counting on nba 2k8 to be good, because I'm definitely not buying anoher EA sports game this year... we'll see what they can come up with for 09.

I actually think the game plays fine on the PS3, I played Madden and NCAA08 for both systems and the 360 is faster, but the PS3 is also very good. At least I can play the games on my PS3 while I wait for my 360 to be sent back from repairs for the 5th time. GRRRRRRRRRRR
