Well it does have Batman in it automatically making it awesome, but I'd rather have the PSP version at the moment.

Still, I may consider this anyways

Meh, it wasn't a good DOTD the other two or three times they did it, and it sure isn't any more appealing now.

meh, it's the same price as a 'keep it' for Gamefly and there you can get 10% off plus free shipping (not to mention coupons and such). Thanks again Amazon :\

I played through the Playstation Portable version a few months ago and really enjoyed it. I guess those Raven games score better, but I liked this a lot, and hated X-Men Legends.

Should be the same game, aside from missing the convenience of portability.

ived played the PS2 version.. there is just something slow and boring about this game, perhaps its the way super man flies at a rate of about 9 miles per hour

The PSP version is available for $17.99 used @ EB/GS; I highly recommend it if you are a fan. This game is better when it's portable.

Yeah I decided to look into getting a cheap DS version.

The DS version is (of course) a completely different game from the PSP/PS2/X-Box version, developed by someone else. It got really bad reviews.

Don't bother with it. Pick up the PSP/PS2/X-Box version if you want it. IMO it is worth buying. If you like Snowblind's games, and you like DC's superheroes, I can pretty much guarantee you'll enjoy this.

It's been a few months since I played it, but as I recall I was (among other things) really impressed that characters like Superman actually seemed way, way more powerful than the whimpy characters. I also really enjoyed how much of the game had you playing specific characters at specific times (though others didn't like that, for me it meant you got to see other characters, rather than always playing Superman and Wonder Woman).

Cool unlockable characters too.

*SIGH*

This game sucks on all the consoles/handhelds--one of the biggest let-downs of '06.

I wish I would've read this thread before I bought this game over a month ago when it dropped to 19.99. I tried to have fun with it but i just find it very boring.

What types of games do you like? I'd be really surprised if you like Snowblind's earlier games and dislike this. I mean this isn't like the greatest game ever, but it's fun and very solid. I actually finished it, which is more than I can say for most games.

I personally hate X-Men Legends (although despite that I did still pick up the sequel when it was on clearance for the Playstation Portable...couldn't resist trying it for <$10-haven't gotten to it yet).

I love Snowblind Studio's other games, which is why I bought Justice League Heroes on DAY ONE; but, after finishing it in 2 sittings and being bored for 50% of the experience, it went right on ebay.

Imagine this: take Champions of Norrath, remove all the gear and random equipment, remove half of the special abilities, and then force the player to use certain characters on 50% of the stages. Sound like fun to you?

I actually had more fun with it than Champions of Norrath. I though it was one of the best Super Hero games that's been done. Not like brilliant, but it was fun, and I actually finished (and pretty fast), which is something.

Champions of Norrath was a bit on the generic side for me, though I did beat it.
