From time to time Major Nelson will address "community feedback" that he receives through his blog. Problem is, I can't find where this "feedback channel" is! Do any of you guys know where I need to go? I'd really like to communicate the problem I am having with free downloadable content, especially now that I've been able to connect to Gears of War games on XBL. It's quite frustrating that I can't continue playing with folks simply because I don't have any of the new maps and I can't DL them either...

I sent him a message over XBL, but I never got a response. I suppose email would be better.

I assume he's talking about comments left on his entries.

Yeah, Send him an Email instead. Hi's message box is most likely to be full.

I was having a problem dealing with customer service when I returned my HD-DVD drive for service and sent him an email to major@xbox.com. Later that day I received a quick response saying he would look into it and see what he could do and the following day I received a follow up call customer service and I received a replacement soon after that.

I would definitely advise sending a message to that email address as it worked for me to get things moving quickly. In reality, you know that isn't his real microsoft email address and they probably have an assisant going through the messages but I don't think it can hurt to send him an email.

You're dead on, and they're smart to do so. They must figure that if someone cares that much about their 360 that they've sought out major nelson's email address, that's a customer they need to bump up in the queue.

I sent him a message offering him a bet that if the Bears beat the Seahawks in their playoff game, he'd have to play Sonic the Hedgehog (360 version; not XBLA) to completion, or vice versa if the Seahawks won.

He didn't take my bet.

In the shows he normally says to send feedback to major@xbox.com

If you send something over life, he recommends text so he doesn't have to be on his box to check it.

I sent him an email addressing Cheapy's and others concerns: Why do we have ads all over the dash when we pay for gold, themes and gamerpics. Gold subscribers should have an ad free service.

No response.

I sent a message asking why we have no option for 1680x1050 for VGA cable connectivity yet they have higher resolution, and similar aspect ration resolutions (telling me it's not a hardware limitation)... No response, and to this day I still can't use my LCDs native resolution.
