One of the all time greats. I roll through it about every three months. Takes about 2 hours to get 80%. Nowhere near the top of the speed runs for this game, but good for me.

I'm still waiting for a 2D Metroid that's on the level of Super. I mean, I liked Metroid Fusion, and Zero Mission was great, but they weren't anywhere near as memorable.

Yeah. I want a 2D Metroid for Wii. Either make it a brand new VC game, or go all out and make it a pimp Wii game. That would get me to buy a Wii.

At this point, I'd take a DS Metroid. Real deal 2D.

I need my sexual organs so I read it. I hardily ever rate games a 10/10 but I agree that this game deserves that score. I remember back when I was 7-8 and trying to beat this game for the first time. Good times..

Almost any game with substantial backtracking loses at least a point from me.

I like this game. But it's not even the best SNES game.
