DS system and ds game question

im new to the land of the ds so if this questions been awnsered already i apologize. first off i wanted to know is the ds pretty much a portable n64? mario 64 ds is awesome and pretty much spot on like the n64 game and if thats the case how is it theyre able to fit that game onto such a small cart and could they possibly put other n64 games onto these carts?


and the other question is about disney meteos. i recently got meteos and i love the game so that said being a fan of meteos would it be worth buying disney meteos? i know that the major diffs are the ability to slide pieces from side to side, the disney character pieces but is it worth owning if you already own meteos?

The DS can display N64 style graphics. But its not a die shrunk N64. In fact it has two core processors (I believe one for 2D and one for 3D graphics).

I own both Meteos games, and to be honest Disney Meteos, while fun, probably doesnt offer enough for to warrant buying both.
