Rydia
Still can't believe they listened to the turn-based whiners for DQIX. Turn based multiplayer is dumb!

Is that traditionally-animated cutscenes for DQ9, or just concept art?

Quite.

I just hope that FFIV isn't as frustratingly difficult as FFIII was. I only played FFIV in FF Anthologies but never got very far (my save was lost after playing for about 8 hours). I don't remember having any difficulties with it but that was back when I had lots of time for RPGs.

BTW, didn't the last DS Tales (Tales of the Tempest) title suck? I hope this new one doesn't suck but it seems as if it will because Namco hasn't turned out a great Tales game since Symphonia.

Looks like the awesome new graphics have a downside. I feel like a creep. Anyways it looks like Cecil can use Edward's sing ability, and Rosa and Rydia can use Twin Magic like Palom & Porom. This article explains it http://www.siliconera.com/2007/09/13/learn-new-abilities-in-ffiv-ds/

Huh? FF3 was hard? I sure hope they don't make it any easier like FF6 on GBA. Now that game sucked because it was so easy.

And a different team is working on Tales of Innocence than Tempest, so hopefully it will turn out better.

I finished FF3 last night. The final stretch is fucking HARD and you know it. You have to grind for like, 10 hours, to get to the level you need to be at.

I'm getting to the end right now. Just finished the Ancients Maze. What level should I try to get to?

Thanks! Shite, I really want to finish this. I suppose I'm in for more grinding. I wonder if I'm strong enough to make it through Eureka.

I know this will probably be released in the US before I open FFIV Advance... darn. I shouldn't bother since I completed the game over a decade ago when I was 12.

My guys were level 60 when I beat the last boss, and I was one attack away from getting annihilated when I killed her. Two of my guys were dead and all I had left was a Sage (who had been casting Curaja every turn, to no avail) and a Summoner.

If I had died, I would have been set back about 4 hours, because that's how long you go without a save point in the end stretch.

I grinded in the Ancients Maze, Euryka, and Syrcas every evening for a WEEK before venturing forth. I'm sorry, but at that point, the game ceases to be fun.
