I seriously have no idea why my DS Lite isn't working. It won't turn on when I slide the power switch nor will the light come on when I plug in the charger. Anybody know just what exactly is wrong with it? I never dropped it or anything like that.

How much would Nintendo charge to repair something like that?

Your charger could be messed up and your DSL could just be dead...idk how much seperate chargers go for

Borrow a friends and see if thats the problem first though

If Nintendo considers your issue a warranty issue, it should be free. I don't know if you're friendly with any game stores, but I know I personally would stop by my local Gamestop and ask to try one of their DS chargers.

Just email nintendo and tell, them the problem and how you might be able to fix it. If you bought it within a year, then your warrenty should cover it.

did you try changing the battery? maybe you had a defective battery in your system. if you know someone with a ds see if they will let you try their battery in your system and if it still doesnt work its probably the system.

Hmm, guess i'll email Nintendo and see what they can do. I bought the DS used from someone here, so its not like I have the receipt or anything.

You should just call them. Last time (a month ago) I emailed Nintendo, it took them days to respond.

I just called for a broken DS lite under warranty (had the receipt and the serial number was scanned at the POS so it was no trouble) and they were really helpful, it couldn't hurt to give them a call and they will figure everything out for you.
