This isn't an advertisement thread, but I just wanted to share my experience.
My GF's mom is very strict on what she does with money. My GF needed to build a PC, her mom wouldn't let me build for her or anyone else. No it's not because she doesn't like me or I suck, I actually review PC hardware as an offjob and I'm pretty good at building professionally. She just prefered a real warranty in case me and her break up.
I shopped around a while, typical places, Dell, Ibuypower, CyberpowerPC and places like that.
Someone told me Newegg was owned by a company that did prebuilt rigs called www.abs.com. So I checked them out, prices seemed really good, only about $150 difference compared to Newegg price list, comes with warranty and free games and stuff to make up for cost difference.
I checked out Reseller Ratings and they had a good rating. I decided to green light it, her mom let me pick out the parts and configure it. It came to her in like 4 days, fully built with the operating system and drivers pre-installed. They even configured her raid set up and sent her a free tank top t-shirt for chicks that had the website on it.
When she had a problem with the operating system, she called them and they helped her fix it in about 20 minutes time. Compared to Dell that's prett amazing.
Just thought I'd put this out there so if you plan on buying a new PC but you don't want to build yourself, go with these guys.
