Lost in Blue stranded you on an island, Lost in Blue 2 stranded you on an island, and let you fight more animals…but Konami (http://gonintendo.com/?p=25139#) wasn’t done there. Lost in Blue 3 has just been announced, and it will be making an appearance at TGS. There have been no details released on the game (http://gonintendo.com/?p=25139#) just yet. Who’s ready to get lost one more time?

Honestly, I'm surprised that yet another game in this series is coming. The game needs a facelift from the first two, not another rehashing of the same concept when little grainy graphics. I enjoyed the first one to death, but this is getting old.

How about a game engine that doesn't cause your characters to have tapeworm?

Hmm, this could be good. I was interested in the first two, but never bought them. One reason for that is because they didn't have WiFi, and I would really like to play the game with my friend, who seems to love the games. If LiB3 has WiFi, then I buy, if not then no buy.

Played the first one for a bit and just couldn't get into it. It was extremely aggravating how idiotic the girl that followed you was, and how when you leave her behind she seemed to not eat and would die. Too much micromanagement for me.

Conveniently, it was a somewhat rare title and sold for a decent sum recently on eBay considering its age. :D

never managed to get my hands on a copy of the first one, but it seemed like a love or hate kind of game

I have both games, but I've only played a little bit of the first one. I did like what I played, but it wasn't very far into the game.

It does seem weird that they would make another one though, since it doesn't seem to be the most popular series. I guess since they don't change too much between titles (according to what people say), they're easy to make and they just hash them out for a quick buck.

If anyone is looking for a kinda similar game on the DS, I would suggest checking out The Sims 2: Castaway. It looks like it could be a pretty good game with the same concept.

EDIT: I just read that a system for it hasn't been announced, so this might not even be a DS game. Probably still the most likely, but maybe they'll actually make it for something different this time.

Lost in blue 2 is available for like 19.99 everywhere now, or at least it is at sears and kmart I think. Really though its a terrible game (I played some of the first one, then promptly sold it on ebay like a week later), they don't need to make another game where your character eats all his food every 3 seconds....
