Haven't been out game shopping in a while, but I decided to check out the usual places for a cheap PS2 memory card today and came across all this:

Tomb Raider was new-- I took off the plastic-- $8
Godzilla - mint and complete - $9.99
In the Hunt - mint and complete - $5.99
Bangai-O - mint and complete - $9.99
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - mint and complete - $7.99
Gunbird 2 - mint and complete - $8.99
(oh and a ps2 memory card.) I was getting in the hunt and the mem card when I noticed a guy trading in a stack of DC games. I asked if I could check out the stack-- the clerk took Power Stone and Seaman (complete w/mic) for himself right away, thinking he was slick, I guess
Guess I'll sell Godzilla to pay for a chunk of the haul. Can't wait to play the DC games.

I had no idea Bangai-O even had a U.S. release. This is like when I found out Ikaruga came out on the Gamecube after finding it at an FYE a few years ago

Was this some mom and pop place that you were at? I can't think of any of the nationwide chains which still take in DC games.

nah, it's a Wisconsin chain called pre-played (at least, I think it's wisconsin only.)
They take literally everything down to 2600 games (excluding PC games--bought TR:L and Godzilla at Half Price Books)

They have not changed their policies or anything since the name change though. Still take anything up from the 2600.
Edit - I just noticed that the stores have the same stickers, with the subscription points and everything.

That might be sooner rather than later-- just realized you can't play DC games from the disc on NullDC since regular drives can't read GD-Roms.
doubt I'll buy another DC-- love the games, despise the actual system and controllers.
