Hi everyone! Apologies for making my first post as a request for help!

I'm looking for a GBA SP, the second version with the brighter light as it wasn't released in the UK. It has to be new, unused.

Amajon.jp only shows stock of the first version of the SP, so no luck there.

I've scoured all the usual places in Sapporo, Akihabara and Shinjuku and had no luck whatsoever. A few stores have micros, but thats no good cos of the smaller screen.Found SPs, but only the first version in a few smaller outfits in Akihabara, no luck at all with the brighter one.

Am tearing my hair out here. Short of calling up Nintendo of Japan and begging to buy one, could anyone offer any sightings of this rare beast? Pretty Please?

Thanks for reading!

They are still very common here in the USA, if you have a friend in the states you could have them just go to a store and buy one for you and then send it to you, they are still available in most retail stores for about 80$. Could you buy one off ebay USA, you can probably get a used one there for about 50$ or even less, and they are very common.

The way you can tell the systems from the USA are the newer backlit type is the backlit ones only come in 3 colors, pearl blue, pearl pink and graphite black (its like a gun metal color, different from the Onyx black). I am gonna assume the graphite black is rather rare here, I haven't seen it stocked in a long time in any store, although you can probably still find one if you looked, most stores are just stocking pearl blue and pearl pink so if you were to go the friend buying you one from a store route you would probably have to take pink or blue.
